Please join us for a ribbon cutting celebrating new member, EP Legacy. Thursday, August 24 at 11 a.m., 310 Airport Road, Kinston NC.
EP Legacy Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to allow amputees around the world the opportunity to utilize prosthetic devices to improve their lives.
Last year, in conjunction with EP Legacy, a 16 year old boy and amputee named Fidele was brought from Ivory Coast, Africa to Kinston to be fitted for a prostheses. This September, Fidele will be returning to the US to raise funds for his education and a prosthetics lab. EP Legacy will outfit and staff the lab to be able to provide artificial limbs in West Africa.
Most amputees in developing parts of the world live in extreme poverty, often on less than a few dollars a day, making it simply unattainable to receive prosthetic care. By providing life changing artificial limbs, the patients are able to provide an income for their families and carry out normal activities of daily living. We are blessed to be able to glorify God and transform lives by helping to improve the quality of life for people around the world.
